"Alice in Wonderland" - the Movie
I remember watching Alice in Wonderland when I was little and really liking it. It was the Disney cartoon version. I liked how it was a whole new world, and everything in the movie was spontaneous. However, I really do not like the new version of Alice in Wonderland. I thought it was strange, and I just do not like it when movies are re-made. I liked the original cartoon version, so I do not understand why they had to make another one. Also, something just creeps me out when Johnny Depp appears in movies for children, such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

I guess the creepiness is kind of the point for a Tim Burton movie. I don't believe the new movies was made for children exactly but for young adults who would enjoy the creepiness and the childhood experiences that may come back. Like you, when watching this movie, I remembered the Disney version.
ReplyDeleteI have never watched the cartoon version but I wouldn't mind watching it. I do think this re-made movie of "Alice in Wonderland" does have something creepy about it. I personally think the background and the way the people look like in this movie creeps me out. But I guess that is acceptable because everyone and everything is suppose to look miserable until Alice come along to save the day.
ReplyDeletejajaja your funny:p I understand what you mean about Jonny Debt being in kids movies. I find it creepy too. Not because he's creepy but because he makes the character seem creepy-ish. oh, but I did like the new version. Like at first I was sooooo confused because I thought it was going to be exactly like the cartoon version, but it isn't its more like a zequal!
